Limited companies

Statutory accounts, Corporation Tax, payroll for directors and staff, and dividend planning for owner-managed companies.

Business owners reviewing company figures with an accountant

A limited company brings its own calendar: statutory accounts and a confirmation statement for Companies House, a Corporation Tax return for HMRC, payroll reporting for directors and employees, and the paperwork behind dividends. Anewthing manages the whole cycle so that nothing is missed and the company pays the right amount of tax.

Beyond compliance, Anewthing advises on how to take money out of the company tax-efficiently, on management information during the year, and on the questions that come with growth: taking on staff, registering for VAT, buying assets or premises.

Common questions

What are the main deadlines for a limited company?

Accounts go to Companies House nine months after the year end, Corporation Tax is normally paid nine months and one day after the year end, and the Company Tax Return is due twelve months after it.

Can you take over from my current accountant?

Yes. With your permission Anewthing asks for professional clearance and the prior-year figures, then takes over the accounts, payroll and tax returns.
