Accounts preparation

Year-end accounts for sole traders and partnerships, and statutory accounts for companies, limited liability partnerships and charities, prepared from your records and explained properly.

For sole traders and partnerships, annual accounts are the foundation of the tax return. They are also often requested as evidence of income for a mortgage, loan or tenancy application. Working from the records you keep, on paper, in spreadsheets or in accounting software, Anewthing turns them into a clear set of accounts.

Common questions

When are company accounts due?

A private company normally has nine months from the end of its financial year to file accounts with Companies House. The Corporation Tax return is due twelve months after the end of the accounting period, but any tax is usually payable nine months and one day after it. First-year deadlines can differ.

My records are incomplete. Can you still help?

Yes. Part of the work is often reconstructing missing information from bank statements and other evidence. Tell Anewthing what you have and the gaps you know about when you enquire.
